Since the winter semester 04/05 the Ludwigshafen hall of residence has been equipped with a completely new access system to the internet which ensures efficient utilisation of the bandwidth provided and prevents misuse.
With effect from 10.12.2004 LAN and internet access in the hall of residence is only possible with a registration of the MAC address of your network card.
NB: If you do not register your network card you will have no access to the university network / internet!!!
Registration is effected by means of a software program available in the support office (A10) (only during regular opening times).
